Pentaerythritol is a white tetrahydric alcohol containing four primary hydroxyl groups. It is a crystalline powder that is partially soluble in water.
We offer 3 different types of Pentaerythritol: Mono-Pentaerythritol, Micro-Pentaerythritol and Di-Pentaerythritol. The product is used in the production of paints and varnishes, graphic prints and lubricating oils. It is also used in the production of alkyd resins, which in turn are used in the production of standard and intumescent coatings for the decorative and automotive industries. Micro- Pentaerythritol is also used to produce refractory blowing agents and Di- Pentaerythritol is used, among other applications, for refractory coatings.
The product is not classified as dangerous goods and therefore no specific transport requirements are necessary.
