IT-Specialist Oscar González Maitland makes use of a special opportunity that HELM AG offers him as an employer: Together with his family, he uses the Company’s own holiday apartments in Germany and Switzerland.
"You don’t need to think or worry about anything, the apartments are perfectly equipped."

Simply pack your bags and feel at ease on arrival. Does that sound like the start to a perfect holiday? This is exactly what Oscar González Maitland experiences whenever he and his family use the holiday apartments made available to HELM employees in return for a nominal cost contribution. "You don’t need to think or worry about anything, the apartments are perfectly equipped – from bed linen all the way through to washing-up liquid", the information scientist says.
Employees of HELM AG can choose from a total of four company-owned apartments, all of which are well maintained and in attractive locations. They are part of typical tourist attractions:
Scharbeutz was not the first holiday home the González Maitland family happened to try out. "I had not been with HELM very long when I received confirmation of a two-week stay in the apartment at Weggis", reports Oscar. Everyone was overjoyed: "A ski holiday in Switzerland normally is very expensive. We had favourably priced and really wonderful accommodation."
“Travel preparations are always first-class.”
The next time, the González Maitland family was attracted to the Baltic Sea. Accordingly, the apartment at Scharbeutz located only an hour's drive away from Hamburg became their "second home" for a long weekend.
"Travel preparations are always first-class", emphasises Oscar. "They give you a detailed road map when they hand over the keys, including a great many insider tips, such as where the next supermarket is located, how much health resort tax must be planned or what excursions are really worthwhile. Moreover, in the Company and locally on site, there are expert contacts to help out in case anything should go wrong. In other words, there’s no obstacle to a nice, relaxing holiday."
