Patricia de Falcón is mother and employed full-time. The company-owned kindergarten of HELM AG makes it easier for her to harmonise having a job and a family.
When Patricia de Falcón sets out on her way to work, her son Max (3) is always with her. "We only need to get up in time in the morning, get dressed, have a bite to eat and clean our teeth", explains Patricia, a Peruvian by birth. "My boy gets his second, generous breakfast with bread rolls and all the trimmings at the kindergarten." This saves the information scientist who works on HELM AG's IT hotline a great deal of time. "Above all, no detours are necessary."
The computer expert does not need to worry about her son’s wellbeing at any time during the day. This is because like her, Max gets his lunch from the company restaurant, followed by a healthy snack in the afternoons. In addition, Patricia knows that her son is in the best hands of the HELM kindergarten teachers: "He gets taken care of very well, and he’s always enthusiastic about what he experienced or learnt there."
I can come around up to one hour after closing time. That really is a big advantage.
Whenever work in the office happens to take a little longer, the kindergarten teachers react very flexibly, says the IT expert: "I can come around up to one hour after closing time. That really is a big advantage, because my job often does not allow me to simply drop everything and leave. After all, computer problems call for immediate assistance."
