What records should I attach to my application?
Please be so kind as to send us your full application records. These comprise an individual covering letter, a curriculum vitae in table form as well as copies of all work testimonials and vocational training certificates. Attendance certificates regarding seminars attended are not necessary.
Will I be sent an acknowledgment of receipt?
If you send an e-mail message to the address bewerbunghelmag.com, you will be sent an acknowledgment of receipt without delay. Any messages to other addresses or postal applications need to be processed manually; for this reason, an acknowledgment of receipt may take a little more time.
How fast will I receive feedback from you on the status of my application?
Since your application records will be studied both in the Human Resources Division and in the relevant functional department, it is difficult to make a general statement in this regard. We always make an effort to process applications as quickly as possible. If you should not hear from us for a lengthier period of time, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
How does the selection process work?
If your specialist profile and your application match the position required to be filled, we will invite you to a personal interview. You will meet both executives and staff from the functional division and from Human Resources and will be able to obtain extensive information on your assigned tasks as well as about our Company. In certain circumstances, we may invite you to attend a second interview in order to finalise any questions that still need to be dealt with.
Are all positions offered actually published?
Yes, you will find all vacant positions on the HELM AG website. The list is continually updated and the positions remain on the website until the application process has been concluded.
Can I take the initiative and apply for a position even if none is offered?
Yes, you can also apply for a position of your own accord. We will then check whether a suitable position will be vacant in the foreseeable future. This process can take a little longer than with an application for a position that has been advertised. Occasionally – subject to your permission – we retain the application documents and will contact you at a later date without being solicited to do so. Are there any options for an internship, side-line activities for students or a dissertation for a diploma?
Owing to the large number of apprenticeship positions we fill each year, there is little scope for internships in our Company. Unfortunately, no assistance can be provided with dissertations for diplomas. However, it is quite possible to provide side-line work for students. Please send us your application in this regard, and we will see whether an appropriate position is vacant at our Company.
How long will my data be retained in storage at HELM AG?
After the application process has been finalised, your data will remain in storage in our database for six months and will then be anonymised. We use these anonymised data records for statistical purposes only. However, you may request to have your data deleted at any time. All it takes is a brief memo to us.
Is confidentiality guaranteed?
We will treat your records in strict confidence and they will only be made accessible to the relevant persons in the Human Resources Division and in the functional departments. Moreover, HELM AG is committed to compliance with the provisions of the GDPR.
