HELM AG, Welding and 5MED establish new joint venture ANESTPHARMA
London, UK and Hamburg, Germany (June 7th, 2022)
ANESTPHARMA will be dedicated to Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine. The mission is to increase efficiency in anesthesiology departments and Intensive Care Units all over Europe by increasing the quality of care and reducing resource requirements through innovative products and services. The vision of ANESTPHARMA is to deliver and commercialize innovations with a quantifiable value-add for the patient, the healthcare professional as well as the payer in this specialty care market through agile approaches.
The joint venture is a significant step for all three parties by providing a direct marketing structure with its own sales force. The partnership is effective as of now and cooperation has already started.
One of the first products to be distributed by ANESTPHARMA, will be an analgesic on fentanyl base, which can be applied self-administered over a nasal self-application system. The initial launch will be focused on key European countries.

As a first public appearance, ANESTPHARMA will be attending the BIO International Convention (13th - 15th of June 2022) in San Diego, to present itself to the industry and to discuss opportunities for commercial collaborations.
